Our museum is’nt just a museum, it’s Magog oldest urban house and the home the founding family of this magnificent city located at the edge of Lake Memphremagog.
Antique furniture and native artifacts: our permanent exhibition combines technology with heritage to make you discover the history of Magog and its region, as well as the life of the first occupants, from Aboriginal prehistory to the 1920s. Discover the social, economic and cultural life of Magog and its region through the Merry family and their house. Visitors take ownership of the story as part of an experiment that combines technology with artifacts and artwork with antiques. The outdoors’ rich history is highlighted by a mobile experience. A production of the City of Magog, in collaboration with the firm Lupien-Matteau (scenography and museology).
