Urban Fauna

Funny neighbor

This outdoor exhibit is one of a kind. Several rescued animals are housed at the Museum to tell their stories. Disease, injury, abduction—their past is sadly all too common in Quebec. Come learn more about the best practices to adopt to protect our province’s wildlife!

Raccoons, squirrels, owls; It’s easy to see them, but do you really know them?

The Urban Wildlife exhibition lets you discover the wild animals of Quebec that cohabit with us in both rural and urban areas. Start your visit with small mammals. Marmots, skunks, raccoons, birds of prey and many more are waiting to meet you and talk about their history. Finish your tour with a visit to our “big” stars. At the edge of the forest, Ti-Lou the deer and Whisper and Astride the foxes also have their share of misadventures to share.

Good to know

Rescues of all kinds, the animals presented in this exhibition can only be seen on guided tours, in order to moderate their contact with humans. The aim of the visit is to make participants aware of their reality and habits in the wild.
