Boats and the People

Housed in the historic facilities of a 1946 shipyard, the Museum tells the story of wooden schooners and coastal shipping on the St. Lawrence River. It interprets the shipyard’s installations, including the sawmill, the forge, the workshop, the hauling system, the store, and the wharf, as well as four historic vessels, among them the last three schooners in Québec.
