About the museum
Founded in 1817, it is the oldest banking institution in the country. The imposing facade of its head office, dating back to 1847, evokes the power of anciant Rome. Redesigned in 1905, the lavish interior echoes the success of this institution. Architects : J. Wells; McKim, Mead and White. Visitors are also welcome at the Bank of Montréal Museum.
Open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m, except public holidays
