About the museum

Fort Saint-Jean Museum offers 350 years of military history on the site of the Royal Military College Saint-Jean that witnessed the passage of Amerindian warriors, French, British, American troops and several Canadian units. The Museum presents the rich history of this National Historic Site of Canada through thematic maps, models, uniforms, weapons and artifacts on a magnificent site along the Richelieu River.

For a guided or self-guided tour, the Fort Saint-Jean Museum team will be happy to make you discover this unique site which, along with Quebec City, has known the longest military occupation since the French regime in Canada. The museums doors are always open to school groups!
