About the museum

Adminstthe Société d’histoire et de généalogie des Mille-Îles, this museum showcases the heritage of the area that was home to the former Mille-Îles seigneurie. Located in the building that housed Joseph Filion’s forge in the 1860s, the museum uses themes to present artefacts reflecting daily life on the seigneuries.

The Thérèse-de-Blainville Regional Museum showcases the heritage of the territory of the former seigneury of Blainville, namely the current municipalities of Blainville, Sainte-Thérèse, Boisbriand, Rosemère, Lorraine, Bois-des-Filion, as well as part of Mirabel.
