MA Musée d'art

A true cultural centre, the Musée d’art de Rouyn-Noranda (MA) contributes to the vitality of the city. Located in downtown Rouyn-Noranda since 2012, it offers large exhibition halls that play a significant role in the visual arts in Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Through its emerging collection, the Museum is establishing a strong and singular Nordic identity in the collective imagination.  Sensitive to the reality of First Nations people who live on the territory, it maintains special links with the artists whose originality marks the rich Anishinabe, Cree and Atikamekw cultures in significant ways.
