About the museum

Father Frédéric was beatified by Pope John Paul II on September 25, 1988; the church in Canada hopes that he will be canonized in the near future. Visit the museum and meet a man much loved and loving, both in Quebec, where he lived for nearly 30 years, and in the Holy Land, where he worked for 14 years. Paintings, life-sized reproductions and sculptures large and small illustrate the life of this man, a friend and confidant of Saint Brother André.

The museum recounts the life of Blessed Father Frédéric, founder of the Holy Land Commissariat in Canada and co-founder of the Notre-Dame-du-Cap Shrine. Paintings, sculptures and objects illustrate his 30-year career in Quebec and 12 years in the Holy Land.
