More than a museum!  Travel back through the 19th Century and live the “slate rush”! See what remains of this bygone era: large quarries, more than 100 buildings with slate roofs, as well as archaeological sites. Discover period photographs and numerous objects, witnesses of the skilled and experienced Welsh quarrymen who came here to work in Canada’s largest slate quarries.
