About the museum

Musée du Haut-Richelieu stands proudly in the heart of Vieux-Saint-Jean in the former public market and fire station pump. Saint-Jean and Iberville were for many decades the National Capital of Ceramics, therefore a place of choice is dedicated to the ceramic in the exhibitions.

In the heart of Vieux-Saint-Jean, the Musée du Haut-Richelieu brings to life the history of the region and the heritage of Quebec ceramics.

Come visit our permanent exhibition, Le Haut-Richelieu : d’eau, de terre et de feu, highlighting the region’s history.
