About the museum
The T. E. Draper will take you back to the days of timber floating during the colonization of Angliers. Climb aboard and learn about the life of the men who worked on this powerful tug boat from 1929 to 1972. Also, a recreation of logging camps that operated from 1930 to 1940, with the Chantier Gédéon.
We are a legally constituted non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the T.E. Draper log tug. This historical museum focuses primarily on log driving and floating in the Témiscamingue region. We also have a second museum, the Gédéon Logging Site, a true reconstruction of five logging camps from the 1930s and 40s.
