The Old Riviere-Bleue Station

Located at the heart of the village, the old Rivière-Bleue Train Station is the only Transcontinental station that has been preserved. It has become a valuable testament to another époque and to the great adventure of developing an immense area named after the National Transcontinental Railway.

La gare de Rivière-Bleue a été construite en 1913. Elle témoigne de la grande aventure du développement de l’arrière-pays suite à la construction du National Transcontinental Railway. De la salle d’attente au bureau de l’agent de station, de la ’storage room’ au hangar,de la cuisine aux chambres à l’étage, laissez-vous imprégner par la vie trépidante dans une gare au début du xxe siècle.
