Along the Line - Worker’s Memories

Did you know that Joseph-Armand Bombardier’s first factory was built in Valcourt in 1940? Since then, the company has continued to evolve and innovate. Bombardier’s many constructions, expansions and improvements in working methods have left their mark in the history, and have contributed to the flourishing of the company that now bears the name BRP. Not bad for a family company that started in a rural region of Quebec!

In the exhibition Along the Line – Workers’ Memories, travel through 4 eras to discover the evolution of production from the original mechanical garage to today’s interconnected factories.

Located in Valcourt, in the Eastern Townships, the Musée de l’ingéniosité J. Armand Bombardier encourages visitor participation through its numerous interactive displays. Star in a Ski Doo® commercial, pilot an aircraft from the C Series, invent a vehicle from the future and test it at the Idea Studio, and much more! Explore the life and work of J. Armand Bombardier at the Passion as a way of life multimedia theatre, and learn about the Bombardier company’s vibrant evolution through the multimedia show A Passion for Success, produced by Moment Factory. Top it all off with a visit to the Fab Lab—a digital fabrication laboratory—and a tour of the reserve and archives. The Museum will delight the young and old alike, making it a wonderful family destination.
