Travel back in time to the Ordovician period and immerse yourself in the marine landscape from over 400 million years ago. With a remarkable collection of fossils, find inspiration from the beauty and richness of the species that once populated our Canadian waters. From enigmatic trilobites to delicate corals... the geological past will no longer keep its secrets from you!

About the institution

 The mission of the Musée du Fjord is to promote science, particularly aquatic science, and to interpret the natural and historical heritage of the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region, especially that of the Saguenay Fjord and Ha! Ha! Bay. The Museum also raises awareness among the community and the wider public about the importance of maintaining a harmonious balance with the natural environment.
