Weight (Dimensions)

Definition:

  • This field contains the total weight of the specimen.

Observations:

  1. Weight is always to be expressed in grams, except when the specimen is too light or too heavy.
  2. This field is used in conjunction with the Unit Weight field.

Entry rules:

  1. Enter a single measurement, in real numbers.
    Example

  2. Details regarding measurements and comments about partial or questionable measurements should be noted in the Dimension/Weight Remarks field.
    Example

     Unit Weightg
    Weight2000
     Dimension/Weight Remarks The weight indicated is approximate.
  3. This field may not contain more than one entry.
