About the museum

Located in the heart of Magog, within an exceptional protected natural setting, the Marais Interpretation Centre welcomes visitors year-round. Through permanent and temporary exhibits designed for all ages, discover the fascinating world of our biodiversity. Admission to the museum is by voluntary donation.

The Association du Marais de la Rivière-aux-Cerises (LAMRAC) works to protect, promote, and conserve the Marais de la Rivière-aux-Cerises. Located in the heart of Magog, this exceptional natural environment serves as an oasis of freshness in an urban setting, directly contributes to the health of Lake Memphremagog, acts as an open-air laboratory for several research projects, and offers the public privileged access to nature year-round. The marsh is also home to exceptional biodiversity: more than 800 animal and plant species, including 22 with special status. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
