Nature of the St. Lawrence

This exhibition reveals the beauty of the habitats, plants and animals of the St. Lawrence, from the Great Lakes to the gulf. It highlights the natural assets of this majestic waterway and the challenges we face in preserving them.

The décor in the different sections evokes by turns the vast glacier that covered all of Canada thousands of years ago, the surging waves of the river and the lighthouses that stand guard along its shores. A visit to the exhibition makes for a fantastic family outing.

Le Biophare est une institution muséale agréée située au cœur du parc Regard-sur-le-Fleuve à Sorel-Tracy. Sa mission consiste à projeter un point de vue vivant et actuel sur la diversité du patrimoine du territoire de Pierre-De Saurel et de la Réserve mondiale de la Biosphère du lac Saint-Pierre.
