  • More than a museum!  Travel back through the 19th Century and live the “slate rush”! See what remains of this bygone era: large quarries, more than 100 buildings with slate roofs, as well as archaeological sites.
  • Discover period photographs and numerous objects, witnesses of the skilled and experienced Welsh quarrymen who came here to work in Canada’s largest slate quarries.
