Centre d'interprétation historique de Sainte-Foy

Presentation

Located in one of the oldest presbyteries in Quebec, the Sainte-Foy historical interpretation centre presents the history of the 300-year-old city of Sainte-Foy. Trace its evolution, including such noteworthy events as the construction of the Québec Bridge and the Battle of Sainte-Foy, through historical documents and stories told by residents.

Museum experiences

  • The Site patrimonial de la Visitation comprises the ruins of Notre-Dame-de-Foy Church, the steeple which serves as a lookout, a park and the Expo-théâtre's performance and exhibition spaces. Various cultural events, and many concerts are given in the now open-air nave during the summer.
