Discover the two historic sites that make up La Cité de l’Or, located in Val-d’Or.. Become a miner for a day and enjoy a unique experience in a real mine as you go 91 metres (300 feet) underground in the Old-Lamaque-Mine interpretation centre. In addition to this underground experience, you can visit the ground facilities, including the analysis laboratory, where you will be introduced to ore processing. Explore the Bourlamaque Mining Village with its log homes that are still inhabited.
