Presentation

Welcome to the Cuthbert Chapel! Built by seigneur James Cuthbert in 1786, it was the first Presbyterian church to be built in Quebec, originally serving as a burial chapel. Presbyterians in the region would come to worship here. Abandoned for many years, the chapel was renovated by the government of Quebec in 1977.
