Located in the former coach house of the Forest and Stream Club -  which was built in 1874 by Alfred S. Brown, storekeeper of the Grand Trunk Railroad Company and director of the Bank of Montreal - the Dorval Museum of Local History and Heritage combines historic cachet, innovative multimedia installations and original exhibitions to offer you a unique experience in the heart of Dorval's history.

Museum experiences

  • This permanent exhibition portrays the social and economic history of the City of Dorval, from New France to the present day. Its three components, showcased through 19th century coach house stalls, a Hall of Honor, and a time line enhanced by artifacts and various multimedia stations tells us the great events of our city where it is great to live!
