The Maison du Frère-Moffet is located in the small town of Ville-Marie, bordered by the majestic Lake Témiscamingue. It is the first house to be built on the Ville-Marie site and the oldest remains in existence in Abitibi-Témiscamingue. A treasure to discover!

  • The Maison du Frère-Moffet opens its doors to you for new experiences! Do you like learning while having fun? Le Secret Encré is an augmented reality game lasting one hour, is a journey through time to experience in a group, with family or friends. An immersive activity where pleasure, adrenaline and discoveries are at the rendezvous. Audioguided tours are also offered.
  • Live the rich and touching experience of the pioneers and their families through 3 ludo-narrative courses : put on the boots of our ancestors to reach the inaccessible Témiscamingue, listen to the confidences of Brother-Moffet and his desire to harvest wheat and discover the links between the architecture of the Maison du Frère-Moffet, the squared timber industry and agriculture.
