Presentation

The space, located in an old boys’ school built between 1844 and 1849, includes four exhibition halls and an inviting museum. Located in the old quarter of Vaudreuil, the museum, which opened in 1958, includes a permanent exhibit that will delight history and heritage buffs, along with a room devoted to a display of contemporary artists’ work, refreshed six times a year. There’s even a sweet little mouse called Cyprienne who introduces families to a range of playful activities.

Museum experiences

  • The permanent exhibit focuses on the building’s original vocation. It takes a fresh look at the evolution of Vaudreuil-Soulanges, the lives of local residents in different eras, and the visions of artists who have spent time here.
  • Step into the adventure, family kit in hand, and discover the exhibits in all four halls. Put your powers of observation to the test and work together as a family to find answers to the guessing games. A surprise awaits you!
